He could see how quickly she slowed and he slowed his own pace. He wasn't even winded, not even breathing hard. He had energy upon energy. And he did not want the run to end to soon.
So he climbed up a rock beside her and sat down, titling his head at her before throwing his head back and letting out a long howl, one that was answered by the pack nearby.
