Uriel was not as skilled at understanding the stars, but he tilted his head and listened. Eventually, he filtered through the sounds of the universe to focus on that particular star, singing its final song.
He heard the wisdom in his brother's words, but it was hard to stop mourning. Uriel and his brothers were eternal and unceasing, and he could not imagine what it would to simply not exist any longer. It was a relief, in some ways, not to be assigned to Earth. The fragility of the creatures on it was frightening.
"I would like that," Uriel said, offering Lucifer a smile.
