She knew very few of the nymphs and followers that were truly devoted to Artemis that did not begrudge her anything. Daphne had never been cursed nor killed, and she blamed only Eros for her time as a tree. "I know the Lady is here. She comes here sometimes, to hunt." It made her proud to still be amongst Artemis favorites. "I will make sure you are here next time she visits or puts out a call. She simply has not yet noticed you Iphigenia. With so few of us around, she makes time for us."
She sighed and shrugged. The deal between her and Apollo wasn't one she was very proud of. "He did. Once." She sat down and glanced to Echo's room. "Narcissus betrayed my sister. I could not take vengeance myself. I owe him a boon. It was cruel of me to misuse the arrow against him. He has as much control over it as I do, but for Echo I did it and do not regret. He respects my position enough where he would not ask for anything that would betray my vows." She did not mind sharing with her friend, even if she had not told her goddess yet.
"I suppose that's love for me. He's promised Artemis he would never hurt me and I take him for that. He leaves me alone though. I do not like hating him, or fearing him. It is not out of choice. His flaws are many, and his crimes worse. But he is Nymphagetes. For that, I owe him respect, and I cannot offer it because Eros felt it funny I would be his target."
