"I understand," Pandora said with a small smile. Elpis wasn't her daughter, but she always watched over her in a maternal manner. Her own daughter was a thing long gone and unlikely to have the belief to ever return, and Pandora had accepted that. She didn't really remember much about her, just a story in a book.
"Have you been working over the holidays?" Pandora asked him, taking a sip of her coffee. "Anything interesting?"
