Something about her approach snapped him out of a miserably deep thought process, enough so that when she spoke to him, his teeth sort of clanked against the glass he'd been drinking from. Great start, that was. Still, he met her with what he could manage of a smile, setting his drink down where it hopefully couldn't hurt anyone. He looked her over, though it didn't take much to settle on the opinion that she was definitely attractive.

He made a move as if trying to loosen his tie- the stupid thing was just not cooperating- and grinned at her. "Hi. I'm mootles." he nodded, "You enjoying yourself?"
