She smiled at him and took his hand, "not going anywhere." If he wanted her around, she'd stay. She had Miranda to look out for anyway. "I don't have to." She nodded and rose, "I'll do you one better. There's a Mcdonalds around the corner. Hospital food is terrible." She grabbed her coat and put her hat on. "And don't be silly. I wouldn't ask that. You wouldn't for me. Works both ways." She paused then gave him a kiss before taking off.
It gave her a moment to decompress and think. Her feelings were all scattered at the thought of nearly having lost Victor, and she knew she'd gone over simple like. But this wasn't a time to press on that.
When she returned she set the bag on the side table. "Blame me if the doctors make noises. I'm a terrible influence. Here, you need a hand sitting up?"
