Dantalion just loved being up on the surface. So many people to tempt and teach and lead astray, so many thoughts to read, and lots of mismatched couples to arrange. It didn't matter which form he was in, he always had a blast.

He was wandering through Times Square today, in the girl-shape for right now. The only reason people looked twice at her was to check her out, and she just ate it up. The shields she had up to keep out the constant barrage were lowered today, and she could hear the inner monolouges of everyone around her.

I think Alice knows about Gemma.

I don't think anyone saw me. And it's not like they'll miss one pair.

He said he could help me make money quick. And the mortgage is due in a few weeks...

One more hit and I'm done. I really mean it this time.

All these and more raced through Dantalion's head. It made her grin in a frightening sort of way. She pulled the shields back up, because keeping them down 24/7 gave her a massive headache, which was the last thing she needed. But today's little adventure had given her more than enough to work with.
