It made sense and she couldn't really blame her father either. If she hadn't had proof staring at her right in her face, she wouldn't have believed her mother either. She did guess knowing was what had caused her to lapse into simply not believing at all.
And then there had been her aunt, "yeah I'd like that not to happen. Like I said, kind of like him. Sending him off the deep end doesn't seem productive to the whole goal of getting to know him." She hadn't considered the long term when she'd lived in Australia. But she couldn't keep hiding behind youth. And she liked Victor enough to consider it. At least a little.
"How?" she was honestly curious. She wasn't sure how to drop hints. "I mean what do I say so I don't sound insane or really weird. I'm convinced he's had brushes with immortals though. He talks like he has. I don't think he's realized it. Not fully."
