"I know," Erica said with a small sigh. "I just worry." She would have preferred they all stay in Australia and far away from the Gods they were related to, but Australia had Olympians too and Erica discovered that it was safer to be around the ones she knew than the ones she didn't. Her demi-god blood had gotten the family noticed and that was the last thing Erica needed for herself or the girls. "You're smart girls, I give you credit for that."
"Well, language is mankind's greatest invention and greatest gift. There's no hurry to get to them, because you've got years yet. And whichever ones you pick will give you something more of the world." It was the sort of talk her daughters had been hearing since they were born. She'd taught them French and Greek alongside English, wanting to make sure they were all multi-lingual from the very start, and she'd spent hours in their youth impressing on them the incredible wonder and usefulness of speaking foreign tongues. It was little wonder all of them had done so well in the area, even if they hadn't been blood to Hermes.
"Ah yes," Erica said with a slightly teasing smile. "Tell me more about this Victor I've been hearing whisperings about. Before you go mad on spiders. I haven't had one of them for years"
