Zoe knew this was hard for Greed, and she didn't bother with saying things like he was doing the right thing because it would make it worse she was sure. He was a Sin, he had no interest in doing the right thing. She was surprised he was returning the baby but it was something she was learning with him.. that he could do the right thing but you had to phrase it in a way that would appeal to his nature. Ava alive meant more to him than Ava dead and so there they were at the church. She got to say her goodbye to Ava as well giving the girl several kisses and cuddles and when Greed arranged the girls' things on the steps, Zoe smiled at her and whispered, "Despite what Chance tells you... be good." she gave a helpless smile, "Well. Try anyways." and she gave her another kiss on her chubby cheek.
She sat with Greed in the car, watching and looking distraught at Ava's cries but... it wasn't their kid. She was going to be with her parents now. She held his hand as she leaned over to look out his side of the window, resting her chin on his shoulder. Sure there was a chance Satan might just pop up and kill her but this was too important to let Greed do alone. And she wanted to be here. Plus it was Sunday, maybe he took the day off.
