Eyes wide with worry, his blue eyes scanned her features for any other wounds he might have inflicted. "I... I'm sorry... I shouldn't have let them pull me into their arguments." He ran his hand through his hair. "Um... I don't know..." He really wanted to just run away, leave her be, let Charon drive her home so she didn't have to deal with him. He couldn't stand seeing her hurt or angry with him.
Xander blinked and his demeanor changed once more, but to something that few ever saw. Pushing himself off the floor, he brushed his suit off, fixed his hair and looked Roxy over without touching her or being too close. Even his hands were behind his back so she wouldn't feel threatened. No words came from his mouth, but he appeared utterly calm with a slight smile on the corner of his lips. Gesturing for her to follow him, he started toward a chemistry classroom with first aid, glancing back to make sure she follow. Something in his face said that nothing bad would happen further and he just wanted Xander to have a nice night again.
