Pushing his lips to the side, Xander looked down again. He didn't want to tell her his problem. Really, it was something he was never to tell, because it gave people a way around him. Of course, it didn't actually matter any more, and he trusted Pheme not to tell- ironically- but it still felt odd commenting on it. Merely following the music to see if it was ending only helped to bring exhaustion to his body. When he first took human form he found classical music a great way to fall asleep, otherwise he was on edge trying to get use to the form.
"Yes... sorry." He stepped back from her and looked around the dance floor. The song should end soon and he'd be fine with it. "Do you... remember any stories of mine?" He asked shyly. Leaning into her ear, he whispered, "like, my encounter with Orpheus?"
