WHO: Mary Magdalene & Huitzilopochtli WHEN: Thursday night WHERE: Huitzilopochtli's home WHAT: Planning a trip WARNINGS: Mentions of cannibalism, mentions of sex, tba
When Mary arrived at Huitzilopochtli's home she was clad only in blue - both shirt, skirt and shoes, the hummingbird necklace on her throat - and with the scent of vanilla following her. It had only taken a few minutes of internet searching the find the importance of the colour and the scent, but she still wasn't quite sure (even as she got to his place) if she was using both of these things to please him or to somewhat control him.
Maybe I just shouldn't think about it too deeply, was the conclusion she brought herself to.
The warriors let her in and she headed right for Huitzilopochtli's room, but found him instead with his birds. "Hey, birds," Mary said to them and then smiled at the Aztec god. "And hello Huitzilopochtli." She'd worked damn hard on actually learning to pronounce that right, which he should appreciate because after looking through pages and pages of Aztec pronunciation guides, Mary was pretty sure his was harder than any of the others for her to get her tongue around.
Huitzilpochtli still wondered what was expected of him on this trip. The last time he'd gone anywhere he'd been an eagle. He didn't know what to take and most of his warriors just shrugged. He would have to ask Mary.
He could smell her before he felt her and when he looked at her he smiled brightly. He loved seeing her in his color. She was showing the world she was his, and it soothed him, and excited him. And he could tell she'd been trying to learn his name. He wondered what he'd done right for her to get this gift from her.
"Mary," smiling he walked to her, leaning down to inhale the scent of vanilla. "I like this, very much."

When she drew back Mary shook her hair back over her shoulders (knowing that would just make the scent catch him a little more) and said, "I thought you might."
Besides, Mary happened to think she looked wonderful in blue.
"I thought I should come talk travel plans."

He frowned and looked at her, setting a kiss on her pulse. "you dress like this, smell divine and ask me to think of travel plans?" His voice had dropped, keeping his words for her. He let his fingers toy with the necklace he'd given her, knowing that he'd remember this even if he'd ever completely forget himself.

Mary let out her breath with a shudder of desire as he pinned her and then smiled up at him darkly. Whoever would have thought she could teach the supposedly asexual Aztec all about sex games and safe words. (Oh, there were safe words alright. No way she was going to keep fucking someone who liked to play so roughly without that concept being well understood.)
She pulled against his hands, knowing that even using her full strength he'd probably be able to keep her there. She didn't really want to get away. Mary just enjoyed the struggle.

Instead he just smiled and claimed a kiss from her, setting one hand in her hair. And yet he knew he'd tell her these things, in a language he knew she couldn't understand, later or when she slept.
