She nodded, "don't make me put you to bed." She would never pressure him to take the next step, but she could still joke. Taking it easy wasn't really a bad thing. She'd never regret keeping her son, but at 24, taking care of him was hard sometimes.
Gently she kissed him before setting her hand on his cheek. "You're lucky you're adorable. I want this to work, but I can't do it alone. Just be here tomorrow and we'll start from there. And I have dinner too if you want it. I told Bernie you've just been busy with work." She smiled at him and took his hand.
"Come on. No worries for tonight. We can deal with all that tomorrow."
