Joey stared down at his half-empty coffee mug and he shook his head. "I don't really either. It's okay though, I don't expect you to have some magic soul-healing wisdom."
He knew he could trust her to just listen because he knew Jessie was well acquainted with pain. She would know time was really the only thing that would help him. He knew that too.
