Zoe nodded, "I'm not going to take that bet because you're right, I won't glomp you when I see you. What do you think? I miss you or something." she walked to the bus stop, "No, no cookies for you. Wait wait.. who were you again? How do we know each other?" she grinned.
It would take over an hour after Zoe hung up with him. Partly because towards the last stretch of the journey there was a sudden cloud burst. Zoe got off the bus, stepping into a downpour, really regretting not having any sort of cover. She checked the address again and had to walk a couple of blocks until she arrived at the place. She looked up at the post apartment building and her mouth dropped open a little. This place? Well.. either she was going to see Greed or get arrested.
She followed his instructions and knocked on the door, moving her wet hair out of her face. Not that it did much to change her overall drowned cat appearance as she was soaked to the bone with her clothes sticking to her shivering body.
