George lost himself in the haze of battle, keeping an eye on Joan and dodging when she yelled warnings to him. When it was just him and one final demon, he lunged forward and wrapped a hand around its throat, driving his sword into its stomach before stepping back. He turned to see Joan easily dispatch her final attackers as well.
"Well," he panted, a laugh bubbling in his throat, "that was fun."
