"Yes. The God of the sea. It's...I'll tell you more when we get out of here." She smiled a little. "You have a boyfriend?" She folded the kimono back over her arm. "I know it seems crazy, but stop asking questions right now. When we are inside," she said it as softly as she could. The street they'd turned was full of shops and few lights on, but she had seen a yellow flash go by. It had to be a cab.
Greed was down that same street where he'd strayed from his fellow Sins. Always doing things on his own. He wasn't a killer, greed only killed when it got him what he wanted. Down by the shops were plenty of looters with a stash to raid. Another few men ran by Zoe and Raiden as they flagged down a cab. Raiden was certain Zoe had been right beside her, but one of the men pulled on Zoe's arm grabbing for her coat and anything she'd had in in. The man had a satchel so stuffed that he was a clear target for Greed. He took a shot nailing the man but also grazing Zoe with the bullet. In the dark up on a high rooftop he had no idea it was her. More importantly he hadn't even checked his phone. He had no idea she was out.
Raiden had just opened the cab door, jumping at the shot fired. She looked down the street to see Zoe. "Oh no!" She begged the cabbie to stay and get them to safety. She quickly ran to Zoe to help pull her up before anything worse happened. "I have a cab. Come on." She would check her over in the car, they had to get out of there. She hadn't even realized they were almost in Times Square.
