The need to give others the fantastical dreams he so beautifully made only grew with every passing second. Before he went out looking for Miranda he had made certain that Cordelia and Kat were alright. And everyone else who was at Hypnos' place that day. He wasn't about to leave an innocent to wander around in this mess, no matter who their grandfather might be.
Phantasos at least knew what Miranda looked like, but in this darkness it wasn't very helpful. He could hear the voices, the whisperings. But he wasn't afraid of them. They were something out of illusion and because he knew that and came from Night and Darkness he seemed immune to the fear this was all meant to inflict.
He felt only a fraction of relief that the others were safe. The ones who, right now, truly mattered the most. Everyone else didn't matter. And right now the most important person in the world to him was Miranda, because he had to find her. Before someone, or something, else did. It didn't help much that he couldn't feel her. Even though the Lowsley sisters were part immortal he still couldn't quite feel them unless he was right next to them. At least, that's how it was with Cordelia and Kat.
After hours was walking, searching place to place, every nook and cranny he could find, he felt himself losing hope of finding her. He had first gone to apartment, having gotten the address from Cordelia, because it was the most likely place she would turn up. When that didn't pan out he felt frustrated at having to look literally everywhere. But it was worth it. He was only angry at his parents. And himself. He should have said something sooner. He could have made sure the girls were at Hypnos', or at least knew where to go. He blamed himself because he had known beforehand. He wouldn't blame any of them if they found fault in him.
But finally, after hours of walking and searching, he turned a corner and walked straight into a much smaller being. Considering the circumstances, he took immediate action and pointed the flashlight at whomever it was. Holding up Cordelia's bat as well. When he got a good look at her face he asked, "Miranda? Is that you?"
He took a cautious step forward. He may be a Di Nocti but that didn't mean the darkness wouldn't play tricks on him. When he confirmed it was her he sighed with relief. "Thank the gods. I've been looking everywhere. Are you alright? Everyone is at my brothers. They're all safe and your sisters want you there too. It's much safer there than wandering out here."
