Temperance was on her way back from campus. She'd spent an extra half hour with a girl who was insistent that she had to have an abortion because she couldn't afford a child being her first year of college. Her parents were going to kill her, the boyfriend hadn't a clue. It wasn't up to Temperance to make the girl's decision for her, but she could nudge her into the right direction--in this case taking the life of a unborn baby. She had to save this innocent life as best she could. She'd finally managed to get the girl calm and thinking rationally, at least it was the right direction according to Temperance. She felt better walking the girl back to her dorm and giving her her number to call at any time. She would be a friend when at times some people felt the most lost.
Fall had started to come in, the leaves turning color. She wrapped her coat tightly as the wind broke into a soft gust around her. She knew she felt something shift in the air, coming closer with each bounding step. She didn't wait for it, but she slowed her pace for it to catch up to her. It would have made it's entrance one way or another.
She stopped softly, those heels clicking against the pavement. She wouldn't say she was ecstatic to see Gluttony. Between him and his excess siblings they could be draining in pairs. Gluttony looked to be alone, which she could handle them better one at a time. "Gluttony," she said with a soft nod of her head. She would give him a warm greeting. "I wouldn't say that's the most appropriate thing to say. You look nice Temperance would do nicely."
