George curled his hands into fists on his knees to keep from twitching his fingers. He knew that, technically, there was nothing that he could do that would fix Wrath or Patrick's problems. There was no button he could push or monster he could slay. But he wanted there to be something so easy.
"You aren't worthless," George said, nudging Patrick with his knee. To Wrath, he said, "And you shouldn't hate yourself. And I know I tell you that all the time, but I'm repeating it now. For emphasis."
