Helios stood quickly when Rhode returned, offering her his hand as they proceeded outside. He clung to her like glue, but there was still that unspoken air between them. He felt uncomfortable and that wasn't ever the way he wanted to be around her. In some ways he would have preferred a memory lapse right now. It would erase the things he didn't want to remember. This gap was one of them.
