George offered a rueful smile. "You can tell him that when he gets back, he'll make his confused face at you."
The smile faded off his face, and he leaned against his brother. "I figure it had to be quick. Like an ambush or something. Because otherwise, Michael would have just flown out of there. So there was probably no pain."
George didn't know that for a fact, but believing it was a comfort.
