Richard's way of dealing with this break up was to hide into work. He'd have gone to the Middle East, but he'd be more a danger then a benefit there, so he just piled up paper work.
Somewhere, his father was laughing his head clean off at the

Today had been Sunday though so he'd gone to Church and just talked to God. It reassured him. Then he'd watched television, although he hadn't really seen anything and spend his time scratching Normandy behind his ears. His dog knew something had changed, and was comforting in his own way. Richard supposed he owed George for that.
He startled at the knock, George tended to come right in, and rose to answer it. He smiled at Katherine because he did like her. He hadn't met a single person so devoted to being happy. "Katherine, I didn't expect you. Come on in."
