Anteros, honey, just ask first! XD
Terpsichore always liked an appreciative audience, even if they didn't speak. She loved seeing the expressions on their faces after one of her fellow principals completed a difficult, dazzling solo. And she loved it just as much when it was all focused on her. (Hey, Muse or not, she was a child of Zeus, and a little bit vain.)
She stood with her arms raised, cheeks flushed with color, breathing deeply as she watched him get closer. Her heart was hammering in her chest, the way it always did after she pushed herself so much in such a short time, and she was sure he could feel it under his palm. He was so much closer than anyone else, except her Muse sisters or her dancing partner, and yet she couldn't tell him to step back. No one had watched her like that, with something like rapture on their face, for such a long time. She liked it.
"What'd you think?" she asked, voice rasping slightly. She could really do with some water right about now.
