Men were hopeless. Utterly hopeless. But Psyche had learned to turn a blind eye when they simply wouldn't listen. In the case of her dear brother-in-aw that was most certainly true. She agreed with Rhode's prediction. And she expected that if they didn't call Aphrodite she would be getting that call. It made her groan, but there was no way she would ever leave them in jail if she did get that call.

For now she focused on Rhode. She was good at listening and giving sound advice when it was asked of her. But mostly she just listened quietly and comforted where it was appropriate. She and Hedone had a quick dinner and Hedone was hurried to bed. She suspected this conversation might be a little too adult for her daughter.

Just as she finished loading the dishwasher the doorbell sounded. She opened the door with a smile. "Hi! Come on in and get comfortable.. I'm about to put some coffee on."
