WHAT? Greed stood dumbfounded as she escaped, walking off as if his performance had done nothing. Was this girl really that resiliant? He'd been no more than water off a duck's back. He was trying to grasp it but by then she'd already wondered off.
Had he just been rejected big time?
Greed looked himself over, patted his chest, clothes and face. Something was wrong. Either Charity was nearby or his power had been zapped too. He didn't know what to do first. Stomp his feet or kick someone in the knee. He did a little of both. He couldn't go home and whine to Lust. She couldn't do a damn thing to make him feel better. Greed felt a little lost.
For a while he mumbled to himself as he wondered around. Rejection was a bitch and he didnt like it. He'd pulled out all his best moves and still...nadda. It kind of made him sick inside. When he reached the Rockeffeller center there was still a numbness inside. The nice guy had faded and he was ready to do damage to someone. Kids were too easy but they'd be a good jumpstart. He focused on one mean little boy yanking on his mother's skirt. While Greed sulked on a bench he snorted at the display. He gave the kid a thumbs up when he turned around. The mother leaned down to pry the kid off her but instead he velcroed himself to her leg.
