Honestly, Pasiphae felt she deserved no apology. It was years of reminding herself what she had done that made her believe she should continue to be blamed. That didn't mean she didn't hate the ones who had done it to her. She sighed and leaned against him for a moment. Things may never go back to exactly as she remembered them before the mess that was their most popular story, but she could at least do her best. As they walked on she felt considerably lighter. Already she could feel that weight lifting off her shoulders.
His apartment put hers to shame, it was gigantic compared to hers. She had almost forgotten what it was like to live so lavishly.
