This girl sounded like the exact reason she'd gone int teaching in the first place. She'd taught children at first, and their wide eyed curiosity had alwas made her smile. She'd gone over to college for the challenge, and finding that spark was harder here.
But it made it all the better, when she found it. As a Muse, especially, it was a wonderful thing to find this kind of passion, as it was something to inspire.
She also wondered how right the girl may know she was. She spoke of someone who had been in contact with Immortals before. But that wasn't something you just blurted out. Maybe this grandmother had known.
"Congratulations, you start tomorrow." She smiled then, "it's nothing glorious this job. You grade papers and hand out sheets when needed and when I can't make it you fill in for me." She leaned back into the chair, "I'll give you fair warning, you're going to have to be a bit flexible around me. I may have a lesson plan, but I can bounce back and forth between multiple topics, or just go onto something completely different."
