As a teen Dominic had made up all kinds of wild stories about his father. The man was as silent as the dead, Dominic had picked up some of his traits. In all his childish fantasies he wasn't sure what his father really cared to tell them. Everything was important when it came to the Mihaylov household, but this seemed more serious than ever. It was after all one of the rare times that their father actually joined a dinner. Things seemed to have changed in the last few months since he returned and Jackie moved out.
He finished up dinner quickly, forgoing dessert. He wasn't sure why but he was anxious, almost like a child again.
