George eyed her sideways. "And the waiting is the worst part." He stared contemplatively at the somewhat stained wall across from them. "I like the world, you know? All the people and the buildings and the animals. I don't want it to end. But sometimes I wouldn't mind an Apocalypse, just so I can finally stop waiting and stab some demons in the face, without worrying that they'll fingerpaint with my friends' entrails as revenge."
