Who: Pygmalion What: Mean teacher takes a crack at his first day of class When: Monday, August 20th, 2012 [Backdated] Warnings: None
Pygmailion's first day of class was typical of his style. The kids all sat stiff while he ran through his syllabus and expectations for the year. He was not an easy teacher to get by, and by the next day or two he expected half of them to weed out.
"You are not to be late for my class. If you think you will even be five minutes past, don't even bother showing your face. I will not let you in the door." One of the students turned to nudge the other.
"Is this guy serious?"
Pygmalion whipped around, walking up and down the art tables that were some make-shift desk, standing right behind the boy who dared to speak while he was giving his lecture. "Do you want to share that with the class?"
"Uh...no?" The boy said brushing this off as just some freakoid teacher who thought he was all high and mighty. He'd heard it before.
"Good, then you can get out of my class." Pygmalion wasn't going to have anyone that didn't take this seriously. "I suggest anyone else who thinks they will get through my class by lazing around packs up their things." The boy along with at least three other students left, leaving the class with still a few dozen. Some were too scared to get up, others would wait until the next class to skip out. Some would actually consider a transfer the moment the two hours was up.
Pygmalion continued through his list of expectations. What they were expected to bring. What they were expected to do. Oh, and homework assignments would not be a few paragraphs to read in an art history book.
This would be the worst class any of them had taken and they'd be thankful to get through with a credit if they didn't fail by the end of the semester. It was the one thing Pygmalion could focus on while his own hands refused to work right. Hephaestus' curse still loomed over like a dark cloud. Right now he was still being angry and hiding the frustration by berating his students. What was left of them by the end of the week anyway.
