Anteros smiled wide and it was so bright and innocent that only someone who had no love in his heart could think ill of him in this moment. He hugged Eros tightly and closed his eyes when he felt his brother's affection smother him. It had felt like forever and in reality it's because that's exactly what it had been.
The rest of the people might as well have not been there. He was as confused as Eros, his look mirroring his brother's as he took a moment and then said his first word on the release of a deep breath, "Waiting."
He smiled and grabbed Eros in a tight embrace again as he shook his head, still bewildered, "I waited... for so long." he didn't understand any of it but he was here with Eros and all was right with Anteros' world again.
He pulled back to look at his brother saying sincerely, "I'm sorry.." his one job was to be with Eros to make sure the man was never lonely and he hadn't done it. Sure, he didn't entirely understand where he went or what here was, but the thought of failing Eros was something that could easily extinguish the light that was always in Anteros' eyes.
