Eurydice waited for Mnemosyne to sit in the armchair before taking her place back to Orpheus. She sat poised on the edge of her seat, looking at the food that was set out on the coffee table. She wasn't sure how much she would eat, but she wasn't about to be rude and not have anything.
"Go on, dear," said Mnemosyne, who thought Eurydice was simply being polite and didn't want to be the first to 'dig in'. She smiled a little shyly and reached over to pick up one of the scallops. "Now, tell me how you two are doing. I imagine this is a huge adjustment."
