Hephaestus used the handle of his cane to slide the paper away from Pygmalion in one smooth motion. Over the years, his can had morphed into a sort of third arm at times, and occasionally he used it to make a point. It had served him well in the past.
"The one who gave you that talent you're so very proud of," he answered, once he was sure he had Pygmalion's full attention. "You have been foolish and arrogant, little mortal."
