As soon as Melpomene was finished fussing over Orpheus for now she moved on to Ella. She crouched down and lay right on her belly to play with her niece. "I'm sorry I haven't come to see you more often, I've been so busy, little angel." To some it probably looked silly, Tragedy on her stomach playing with a baby. But Melpomene wasn't always sadness and tears.
She looked over to Clio, "I went a little overboard. It's not every day I get to buy baby clothes and I felt I should fuss over Ella too. There's something in the bottom for you, too. I hope you like it." It was a copy of The Complete Greek Tragedies. Chances were Clio already had those stories, but that didn't deter her.
She then glanced at Orpheus, "If I don't see you eating something soon I will strap you to a chair and force feed you."
