Eurydice had always been in tune with his emotions. It was part of what made her believe they were soul mates. Somehow she knew his pain, even if for her it brought joy.
When he didn't immediately jump up and embrace her she knew something was wrong. Her Orpheus would have been thrilled to see her, but she knew this was him. She nodded, smiling a little more.
