It was a gorgeous summer evening with a hint of dew from an afternoon rain. The drops kissed how cheeks as he drew his bow playing a tune he always played. It was his voice crying out because he did not sing anymore. He hadn't since he came back into this world. It carried out the sadness he felt. He swallowed heavy closing his eyes as the violin cried, carrying out across the park. Passerbys stopped, every single one not able to keep walking. That sound broke even the hardest of hearts.
He did not even sense Eurydice's presence. After having caught a glimpse of her before she descended into Hades, it seemed only fitting he could not see her now, even as her skin glowed against the night air.
