Charles didn't know her brother and sister to be able to say that she wasn't a worry. All he knew was that she wasn't a worry to him, not in the way she was concerned about. "I understand. You came to the right place." He was secretly glad for the company. His apartment was big and a little lonely. And he had a soft spot for the Trojan woman. It helped that she was older than he was, and therefore he didn't have to panic when he found her pretty.
He was going to have to reign those thoughts in anyway, though. They wouldn't be helpful even if they weren't wrong.
"You're protecting them by not being there. But you need somewhere to go too. I'm more than happy for that to be here."
