WHO: Greta Morgan, Jacob Grimm, Wilhelm Grimm, WHEN: Sunday night WHERE: The Grimm's home WHAT: Homecoming. I'm sure it will be cheerful.
In the end, Greta had just had to run away. Fairytales wasn't going to let her go - the goddess had made that more than clear - and so it was in the middle of the night that Greta disappeared into the night, sneaking out while Fairytales was out doing things Greta didn't want to think about anymore. She wanted to forget everything that they'd been doing together.
That wasn't Greta. Greta was good. Greta was kind. Greta was not some murderer.
But there was blood on her hands and even as she dozed on the bus back up to New York, Greta dreamed horrible true things. When she arrived on the doorstep of her father and uncle she was bedraggled and exhausted. She found she couldn't bring herself to knock for a long time though. Instead she sat down on the step and curled into herself, the evening air still warm even though Greta felt cold.
Eventually she gathered up her courage and stood again to face the door. She knocked three times with a heavy hand and waited.
