Where: The beluga tank at the zoo where Triton works


Rhode had very much enjoyed her wedding and the honeymoon back to her island, but they did have to come home eventually. And coming home by plane was always better than being pulled back by whatever magic it was that kept them tethered to America. But she did want to go back again, and soon.

But today, Helios was back at work, and she had the day to herself, so she figured she'd visit the whale who'd help calm her down so many times before. She sat next to the tank and tapped on the glass, smiling as it swam over and hovered next to her. "Hello, old friend," she whispered, looking into its big eyes. "They taking good care of you?" The responding jerk would have looked random to anyone else, but she knew it for a nod, and it made her smile. "Good. You haven't seen my miscreant of a brother, have you?" she asked, mostly for Triton's benefit, since she'd sensed his approach a few moments ago.
