WHO: Bridget and twins, open to David WHAT: Baby love, basically fluff WHEN: Monday, early morning WHERE: Their home
More than anything, Bridget was relieved her twins were now home. They had been in the hospital for weeks and even though nurses and doctors had assured her the twins would be fine, she had been terrified something terrible might happen to them. They were so small, even as they grew stronger, and all Bridget wanted to do was protect them herself. That she wasn't allowed to had torn her up inside. Going home every night without them had been torture.
Now they were home and Bridget had decided she was never letting them out of her sight again. No. They would have to deal with her going to school with them. That was just how it was going to be.
She had awakened to the sound of crying and stumbled over to pick poor Aderyn out of the bassinet. Iestyn was still sleeping, Aderyn seemed hungry. Quietly, as not to wake her husband or her son, Bridget took her daughter and the baby monitor into the living room and she sat in th rocking chair. She settled in and started to feed Aderyn, humming lightly as she stroked the feeding baby's face. She had never felt so utterly content. It had taken such doing, but she had everything she had ever wanted right now. And at this very moment, she couldn't even worry about the threats from Lucifer. Right now her family was safe and all under one roof. It was perfect.
