Who: Hecate & Bia
What: Two Titans go hunting a very stupid, very doomed mortal
When: Friday evening
Where: Mr. Idiot's apartment, then probably the Hudson River
Warnings: Violence, language, TBD

Bia had by no means forgotten what had happened at the bar. She was all set to go and get him right then, but Hecate had promised to help, and so Bia was content to wait, putting her anger on a slow simmer. She'd get her revenge, even if it took a year. (But she really hoped it wouldn't come to that.)

But now, they were ready. After Bia was done, he'd be a bloody pulp on the ground, if indeed there'd be enough left of him for that. Gods only knew how many other women he'd pulled that shit with, at least this way, there wouldn't be any more victims. (Not that she'd ever say that last bit out loud. But if she couldn't administer Zeus' justice, then she'd settle for her own brand.)

She met up with Hecate outside his building, having kept an eye on him for the past month and getting to know his schedule and usual haunts. It had been easy, really, he was a creature of habit and rarely deviated from the norm.

"How's that rhyme go from Jack and the Beanstalk?" she asked, idly cracking her knuckles and checking her knives. "Something about fee, fi, fo, fum, and grinding bones to make bread?" She pulled her hair out of her face with an elastic band. "I'll grind his bones, alright."

She wouldn't have let Bia do this alone. She knew the fellow Titan could take care of herself, but it was a matter of honor. Bia would do the same for her. Her own brand of vengeance would have been slower (zeus hadn't counted. Zeus had taken her mother away), as she'd have her ghosts drive the man insane until he ran screaming right to where she wanted him.

But this was Bia's prey, not hers. So this would go as Bia wanted it. "We have to get in, which isn't a problem." Sometimes being a Titan of keys and thresholds was useful. And she'd picked up a few things from her sometimes husband. "Which apartment is his?"

If Hecate had ever asked something like this of her, Bia would have come in a heartbeat. And she was glad she was here now, because when your cousin had 'Brimo' among her many titles, she was definitely someone you didn't want to mess with.

She pointed to a lit up window two floors up. "That one, it's just off the hall. 2B. He was ridiculously easy to find once I found the right building. The whole area smelled of pizza and drugs." She flexed her arms. "Gods, I haven't had to do this in so long. Nice to know justice and revenge can be achieved in the same fell swoop." She moved aside so Hecate could get them in.

She nodded, sending some of her ghosts up to make sure it was safe enough, and that the mortal had no company. Witnesses just made things awkward.

She moved to the door and kneeled down, taking out a slender key and fiddling with the lock and with her magic until it clicked open. "That says something, you know. You're not supposed to be idle." With a sigh she pushed the door open, glancing around before motioning Bia along. "I have eyes up there. It should remain quiet."

"Tell me about it," Bia muttered. "But with Zeus a statue and the four of us not really speaking to our mother, it doesn't really give us a whole lot to do. I haven't even spoken to the others for a while. I hate being idle."

She slipped inside and closed the door behind them. The blood and adrenaline was singing in her veins, all of her senses on high alert. She climbed the stairs and located the apartment with ease, bouncing on the balls of her feet as she waited for Hecate to work her key magic again. "When this is over, you should teach me how to pick locks," she joked. "I could break into Zelos' house and scare the shit out of him."

Hecate couldn't really understand not having an okay relationship with ones parent, but she hadn't been raised by Styx and Pallas either. "I'll do what I can, you know that." She gave her cousin a smile before kneeling before the door.

At the comment she chuckled, "most of it is from Hermes. I'd ask him. I just make skeleton keys." She winked to her own pun before letting the door click open and quietly pushing it open. Then she looked around for the man, "this is your show."

She smiled. "I know. And I do appreciate that. It's kind of like we're stuck at a crossroads-which is kind of funny considering who I'm talking to-we just don't really know where to go at this point."

She grinned. "I may just do that. Padding my resume, and all that."

"Excellent," she said, baring her teeth in a feral grin. "Let's go and say hello." She crept in on her toes, moving more like a panther than anything else. The living room was dark, but there was a light on in the hallway. The bedroom was likely that way. She turned one of the knobs, pleased to get it right on the first try.

"Surprise, motherfucker," she hissed in his ear, grabbing him by the collar and dragging him into the living room, hitting the lights as she went. She threw him onto the floor, where he lay for a moment, dazed. Then his eyes focused, slight recognition dawning. She fluttered her fingers in a little wave. "Oh look, he remembers. You know, it's not nice to try and roofie people, it tends to piss them off. Or, if they're me, violently piss them off."

She unsheathed the knife Styx had given her, holding it up so the light glinted off the edge of the blade. His eyes widened in fear. "You crazy bitch," he managed to get out, before she swung a vicious kick at his ribs.

"Shut the fuck up," she hissed. "You don't get to speak. You lost that right when you tried to dose me and drag me off somewhere. You are a pathetic little worm, and I am going to make you sorry you were ever born, and you're going to be grateful when you're finally dead." She tilted her head in mock consideration. "Or maybe you won't, because once you're dead, she has her own plans for you." She gestured to Hecate. "And I may be scary, but she outclasses me. I'd fear more for your shade than your actual body." She kicked him again for good measure.

This was Bia's thing, so she did not interrupt. When Bia motioned to her, she waved to the mortal and closed the door behind her. She watched the man before taking a seat. "It will be pointless to ask for my aid. Feel fortunate that I am not the one you chose to harm. My cousin is swift. I take my time." She smiled, "and I'm always curious if I can actually make zombies."

She tilted her head, "mind you, you could belong to someone, or nothing, but I hardly care." She moved off the chair and sank on her knees besides the mortal, taking out a slim dagger and cutting her thumb. She wiped her blood on the man's forehead before looking to Bia. "Just some insurance I'll be able to grab his soul." Then she looked back to the mortal, "and in case you are wondering, souls feel pain. Eventually, when I'm bored with you, I may let you go. If we're fortunate, you go to hell. I hear good things." She rose and sat back down on the chair.

"That's not to say that I'm going to simply cut your throat and be done with it," she said, baring her teeth in a grin at him. "Because that would ruin all my fun, and quite frankly, I want you to suffer a bit before you die." She held up the knife again. "Also, I am all for her zombie experiment, so this oughta be fun."

She grabbed him by the hair and hauled him up, throwing him onto the sofa. She advanced until she was just inches from him, the blade only a few millimeters from his eye. "Now, I may be Greek, and we may be known throughout history as a pantheon of weird-ass motherfuckers, but we don't sneak up on people and spike their drinks." She turned to look at Hecate. "Although I could be wrong in that regard. Got two thousand years worth of memories up here, after all." She tapped her temple.

She withdrew the blade slightly, shifting her weight like she was going to take a step back. Then, without warning, she plunged the knife clean through his hand all the way to couch, effectively pinning him there.

"FUCK!" he yelled, his hand bleeding more the more he squirmed to get free. "Fuck, I'm sorry, I'll never do it again, just please let me go!"

"Ha!" Bia barked. "A regular comedian this one. The only 'letting go' I'm going to do is letting your shade go into my cousin's tender care. They call her Brimo, did you know that? It means 'the angry' or 'the terrifying'. And she's pretty angry that you tried to attack me." She withdrew the knife, casually wiping the blood on his shirt.

"Now I can't decide," she went on, gesturing with the knife. "If I'm going to take your eyes, your tongue, or your hands first. Thoughts?" she asked, turning to her cousin, eyebrows raised, as if the question were perfectly normal.

"Hands," she returned to her cousin. "He cannot see without eyes, cannot scream without his tongue. He needs both still, to bring the lesson to it's mark." Then she smiled, "oh and no one can hear you. Fun what magic can do." She nodded to Bia, "and no. Animals and turning into other people, but no drink spiking."

"I have a bunch of titles. Used to be I could only be summoned. I'm a lot freer now." She smiled to Bia, "and I'm very protective over what I have left, family wise. So I'm going to be here, until she's done with you. Then it's my turn."
