Who: Sif & Loki Thor
What: No, no, this is totally normal.
Where: Sif's
When: Saturday
Warnings: language, Loki being a creeper

There was usually a lot of research that went into these sorts of things. Planning. Caution. Thor made it easy for Loki. Even after his little calling card last month (which he was pretty certain Thor would understand), it seemed the strongest of the Aesir continued on his merry way. During one of Thor's many visits to the gym, Loki followed. He spotted Thor's bag and quickly grabbed it, no one taking much notice. He looked for all the world like he'd just finished working out himself and was on his way back to work, or home, or wherever people went after they came to a giant building to sweat and shower together.

He'd been watching Thor since he'd first found him those weeks prior, paying close attention to his schedule, his habits, his quirks. It wasn't easy, but Loki had been practicing, and so by the time he arrived at the building Thor lived in with Sif, he was almost a carbon copy of the blonde brute.

It would have been easy for Loki to plant something in Thor's own room, to sit in the dark and wait for him to return home, but he didn't have a death wish and he certainly didn't want to face Thor head-on at this point in time. Especially not since his arrival in the city was still only speculated. No, it would be much more fun to do this in a roundabout way, and while he hadn't studied Sif as much, he knew she wouldn't be home when he got there. He dropped the bag in front of her door, retrieved a set of lock picks he'd brought with him, and got to work on opening Sif's door.

While Sif had given Thor access to her apartment (and the office) she hadn't expected him when she returned. It was grocery day, which meant she had bags and bags to bring into the kitchen and then there was the all-too-exciting effort of putting said groceries away. She had been busy with them when the person she would believe to be Thor had entered into her office. She thought nothing of the presence of another immortal. It was still very much Norse and she could only assume it was Thor.

And after she had finished up her work in the kitchen she went straight to her door. When it didn't take any effort to unlock it her eyes narrowed and she waited for a moment, listening silently at the door. That in itself was a little difficult right now because some tenants had decided to pass by at that very moment.

After bidding them hello and farewell she finally stepped into the office, gave it a look and found nothing out of place. It was when she stepped further into the apartment that she received a shock. Hand to her chest she gave him a look, "Sneaking in on me. Did I ruin some big surprise?"

Loki turned around quickly when Sif entered. She certainly hadn't snuck up on him by any means, but it took some control to push down the memories that came back when he saw her up close for the first time in centuries.

"Something like that," he said, offering a disarming smile. "I got back early; thought I'd stop by and say hello."

"Ah, well hello," she said with a little grin. Sif set her purse down on the coffee table and went into the little kitchen. She was looking around as though expecting something to be different. When she found everything seemed to be exactly as she had left it that morning she shrugged and set some water on the stove.

"Do you want some tea?" She called.

"No." Loki followed the sound of Sif's voice to the kitchen. Thor was good at taking up space, and when he stood in the doorway, there wasn't any room to pass him. "No, I'm fine. Thanks."

He watched her closely, his eyes following each movement she made. She looked tense, but he was sure that he looked exactly like Thor. He'd practiced enough, had watched him enough. However this turned out, he'd make his point. Right now, though, he needed her to trust him. "How was your day?"

She did make a face when he turned down the tea, but it wasn't for everyone so she went about setting everything out.

"Fine. No problems yet with any of the rooms, but now that I've said it I've jinxed myself," she said making a face and knocking on the table. "Everything okay?" She asked, watching him curiously. Usually he was more playful than this and it was strange he hadn't even kissed her.

He managed a smile when she rapped on the tabletop, but he could tell that he was reading the situation wrong. He'd only been able to watch Thor when he was out, and he was a 'nose to the grindstone' type. He would probably be different at home, and that was an unknown element.

"Just...not really feeling like myself today." He stepped into the kitchen and leaned back against the table near her. Where it would normally hit him in the lower back, at Thor's height it hit him at the top of his thighs. He almost had to sit on it. "Hard work day. Better, now that I'm here."

Sif looked concerned, "Not feeling well? Why don't you go lie down? Maybe all you need is a good nap." She stepped closer, setting her hands on his. "And when you wake up I'll have a nice dinner for two all set out. Actually, make that fifty," she said with a wink, knowing his stomach.

"A good idea." He leaned forward at the waist, drawing his body closer to hers. "Or you could join me. We can always order out later."

Sif gave him a stern look, "Yes, that would be a good idea. But I'd really rather you get some rest if you're not feeling yourself. Not that I don't want to," she reassured him, though still glad he was at least acting a little more like himself.

Loki, it seemed, had lost a lot of his patience over the years. He was getting restless in this form. He leaned back again, rolling his eyes at her answer. "You're no fun." Sure, it was probably something Thor would have said in that situation, but Loki meant it.

He raised a hand to push some of that golden hair behind her ear. "Sure I can't change your mind?"

Sif smirked, "Are you trying to bully me? You should know better than that."

She considered him and shrugged, "Maybe, but you have to assure me that you're feeling okay. Otherwise I'm strapping you down and giving you a sedative," she smiled sweetly.

"Just trying to be persuasive." He smirked, sounding assuring. "Maybe a little passive bullying," he admitted. He snaked his arm around her waist, pulling her closer to him.

"So," he said slowly, "why don't we go and I can make with the assuring?"

Sif gave him a look. "Bullying your wife. For shame." Her words didn't match her mood, however, as she let him reel her in. She set her arms on his shoulders.

"Well, you do seem to be feeling well..." she said with a little nibble of her lip.

Loki used his arm to lift her toward him and, with a grin still plastered on his face, kissed her soundly.

Even if it didn't get past this, even if his plans were thwarted now, this could still be enough. He had hopes for how this might go, but he had to think realistically. Sif wasn't a complete idiot, after all, no matter what his opinion of her was.

But for now, things were going just as he planned, and he smiled even as he kissed Thor's wife.

Who: Thor and Sif Loki
What: Thor gets an unexpected visitor on his lunch break on site Monday afternoon.
When: Monday Lunchtime
Where: Construction site
Warnings: None

There was a strange feeling in the air today, one Thor felt as very familiar but couldn't place the source. Putting the yellow hat over his head he pounded away with his hammer on a wooden beam. The sweat beaded down his neck once the sun rose higher in the sky, a blanket of bright light. He struck the nails with that hammer, the skeleton of the entire structure shaking a little against his force.

Once the sun had reached it's peak in the sky it was time for a break. He threw down his helmet, heading to his truck with his belt of tools. Once thrown in the back he pulled out his box for lunch. Nothing was there. Just as it had been for weeks at the gym, either personal items were missing and replaced with others, or just gone. Someone was up to mischief and Thor did not like it.

He huffed heavily throwing down the box.

"Who ate my lunch!" He exclaimed in a brute voice causing his fellow workers to look up with interest. One of the men laughed. "Oh look, the princess is mad again." His laugh was brought to an abrupt halt when Thor's shadow fell over him.

"Heeeey Deirk, how's it going?" There was a hitch of worry in his voice. Deirk could pound his face in the mud six feet down.

"Hi." For all intents and purposes, it looked like Sif was peeking from around the side of the truck, smiling and with a paper grocery bag in one hand.

It wasn't.

After playing the trick on Sif, Loki thought it only proper to do the same thing to Thor. Symmetry and all that. It was easy to think that he was Sif. Maybe he didn't particularly know all of her intricacies, but he'd been fleecing Thor long enough to know just how far he needed to go to be believable. If Thor looked closely, he might notice that her smile was a bit too wide, her hair a bit too blonde.

But for now, he was Sif, and he'd brought food. "Is this a good time?" She raised the bag in front of her, swinging it back and forth.

Sif. Why was Sif here? Thor turned to see her smiling face after the other workers directed a few whistles in her direction. When Thor's eyes flashed a dark red with a growl their whistles died out to a choke against their throat.

The big brute stalked toward his truck with a curious expression. He'd not yet noticed any flaws in her features just confused on her presence.

"Sif?" he said quietly taking hold of the paper bag she offered. Though he hardly thought it would be enough to curb his appetite.
