Re: Apollo/Leto

She felt him tense up, something that might have gone unnoticed if she hadn't been hanging on his arm. "Are you alright?" She asked in an undertone that only he could hear.
She smiled and nodded, patting his hand gently, "I'll do just that, I promise." She looked around curiously, eyes falling momentarily on Hera and looking away quickly when she felt her breath catch, "Anyone you wanted to catch up with?"

[info]borninlight 2011-06-27 11:05 pm UTC (link) Track This "I'll be fine." He hoped he sounded reassuring. Apollo was watching his mother closely, trying to focus on something other than Daphne, and - oh, look, there were some Trojans - he noticed her quick shift in mood. Perhaps she wouldn't be against the idea of leaving early. He certainly wasn't.
"I'm pretty sure I'll speak to Dionysus at some point," he mentioned quietly, "but I think there are more here that I'd rather avoid than those I'd like to see. I'm content to stay on the outside of this party, if that's all right with you."

[info]moveunseen 2011-06-28 04:20 pm UTC (link) Track This Leto nodded slowly, though still watched him closely. She had missed Daphne and couldn't make the connection. He'd tell her his anxieties if he wanted to. She respected him enough not to pester him with too many questions. If he said he was fine, she trusted him.
She honestly didn't know whether she wanted to socialize with anyone there, but nodded once anyway. "Don't feel obligated to take me around with you. I'm sure I'll be fine here, away from-" she cleared her throat and made a small head motion in Hera's direction. "I have absolutely no objections to that."

[info]borninlight 2011-06-29 02:57 am UTC (link) Track This "If I should need to step away, then Artemis is always here, too." Somewhere. He'd lost track of his twin, which was not an easy feat. It was probably the sheer number of immortals in one place that was making his connection so vague.
