"I've been doing what I'm supposed to do, that's probably why they don't bother me anymore. Not that they did much before." She grinned at that, "She does seem to play tricks an awful lot."

"Well you should," she said simply. "I haven't changed that much have I? At least I'm not an old shrew. I'm what gives you the power to make people relax."

"Same here," he said. "Do my job, stay out of sight, everybody's happy." He had to smile too. "She does. Every once in a while they're useful."

"As if you could ever be a shrew." It popped out with the ease of having said it hundreds of time. "Wait...really? Thea? Pasithea?"

Pasithea laughed at that, "Too bad they're not all useful. At least my experience with her didn't end with me being turned into a fountain or duck, or something wacky." She spoke with a relaxed tone and it almost seemed sleepy.

To answer his question a pleased little grin spread across her lips. "Had I been Memory I would have been displeased we'd nearly forgotten each others faces."

"Well if they were, we might have harmony or order, and that's just crazy, right?" He laughed. "Hey, you never know, being a duck might have been fun. But yeah, in general, avoiding being turned into things is good."

"Then it's a good thing you're not," he said, almost not daring to believe it was really her. "I just...I definitely didn't expect you to turn up here, of all places. It's so weird! Hecate and I were talking about whether or not you'd come back just the other day. She really wants to meet you, by the way."

"Oh, I don't know about that. There's some order and harmony about the things I do," she said thoughtfully. She shrugged, "Perhaps, but I couldn't say one way or another if I'd have enjoyed it. And I'm not about to ask for a different history and be changed into one," she said with amusement.

Pasithea's brow rose a little, "Is that so? Well I've been here a long time, just hiding away from all of this," she motioned toward the crowd at large. "Hm, I don't recall ever meeting her and I do love meeting people," she smiled. She finally sat up more straight and took hold of his hand. "Are you going to kiss me or not?"

He cocked his head, thinking. "I suppose the same could be said of me. Sleep cycles, things like that." He grinned at her next comment. "Probably a smart move. That's too much like tempting Fate, which can end badly sometimes."

His mouth quirked in a little half smile. "I wish I'd known. Even if you were hiding, I would've looked for you. I've missed you." He smiled. "I'm working in her shop, you could probably come by anytime after sunset, since that's when she's awake."

He squeezed her hand. "As my lady wishes," he said with a smile, and leaned, pressing his lips to hers.

OOC: No lie, I immediately thought of this song when she asked that question. XD

"I know enough stories of Fate tempted not to go doing something that foolish. Although I'm sure there are some here who aren't so bright about that."

"I'm sorry, can you ever forgive me?" She asked with a playful pout. She nodded, "I'll do that sometime."

This was what made remembering so good. She smiled against his lips and didn't care who would see. "I've missed you, my husband," she said in a calming whisper.
