"True enough, and it looks like they could definitely use some of that here," she replied, gesturing with her bottle at the crowd. "However, I get the feeling that commandeering a space and trying to do some stand-up wouldn't go over too well. You'd think it was a wake, rather than a party, but whatever."

"It flatters you," she said. "And hey, at least we'll always have a record of what went down here, which I don't need any feelings at all to know won't be good." She sighed.

"Like the calm before the storm."

She laughed to the image, "I think you should none the less. We're Muses. We're allowed. And it looks that way. At least Hades and Thanatos fit in then."

She smirked, "even if I got blindingly drunk I'd still remember. I get that from Mom. It's not always nice, but in the end I get to tell everyone 'well I told you so'. Even though no one listens." She made a face then, "don't say that. That's just tempting fate."

She snickered. "Maybe after another drink. Dollars to doughnuts I get through ten minutes and Hera glares me off the stage." Her eyes glimmered. "But like you said. Muses. Allowed." She grinned.

"Oh, I know," she replied. "And yeah, you definitely did. It might not be nice, but someone has to remember and pass the stories on. Otherwise, no one ever learns."

"Maybe someone should go tell them that," she said with a straight face. "I'm pretty sure they're here somewhere."

She chuckled, "she can't hurt you. And at least there'd be some entertainment. Something. Anything. Not just all this, this quiet talk like someone died."

She frowned then, "or maybe someone has died." She scoffed. "No one ever learns anything Thal, or this party would be more lively."

"I've seen them so yes they are. But still. It's like we're all waiting on something, all holding our breath."
