Aphrodite/Dionysus
Aphrodite (Open to anyone) [info]aphrogenea 2011-06-26 08:21 am UTC (link) Track This Casting her eye across the gathered immortals, Aphrodite had been keeping an eye out for Poseidon. Sea-born Aphrodite had always had a strong connection to the ocean, it was the place of her birth and still considered one of her sacred places. So when she had been swimming and felt the strange and uncomfortable drop in her stomach, she'd known it had been Poseidon. Their connection to the sea connected them as much as neither of them may have liked it. There was a reason she'd born him not one but two children, after all.
To say that she was concerned about what had happened to Poseidon would be going to far. It was more that Aphrodite was curious as to what that feeling had been. As yet she'd voiced it to only her husband, but she hoped that tonight she'd find out more.
Clad in white and silver, the goddess of beauty merely waited for the true reasons for this party to become apparent.

[info]dipsomaniac 2011-06-28 03:05 am UTC (link) Track This Dionysus hadn't seen Aphrodite since he and Ariadne had moved back into their place. Her dress was stunning, and the lucid god had to compliment her on it.
"Darling," he said letting his hand slide against her hip as he swept up behind her before meeting her eyes, "don't you just look stunning."

[info]aphrogenea 2011-06-28 08:58 am UTC (link) Track This Aphrodite gave Dionysus a coy look from under her long, dark lashes. "Don't I always?" she asked him, voice all honey-rich. "Wonderful to see you, mon amour." She laid a kiss on each of his cheeks in turn, her smile warm.

[info]dipsomaniac 2011-06-29 12:27 am UTC (link) Track This He kissed her in return on those gorgeous, flawless cheeks of hers, hands nestled on her small waist.
He looked better since last she saw him, his cheeks had returned their color, and he held a more masculine appearance this outing since Ariadne would rather that than he raid her closet.
"I had to fight Ariadne for who had the best look," his hand ran over the tie he wore, pursing his lips which still held their gloss and eyes that smokey look.

[info]aphrogenea 2011-06-30 04:01 pm UTC (link) Track This "You know," Aphrodite said dramatically, "I had just been wondering the very same thing. I'm being dreadfully ignored, even by that husband of mine."

[info]dipsomaniac 2011-06-30 04:10 pm UTC (link) Track This "Oh, sweetheart," he cooed "I must remedy that," he gave her a sparkling smile. "Let's be the envy of the party." It wasn't that he meant to leave Ariadne as he'd promised not to just days before, but when two Olympians like he and Aphrodite came together, the erratic god's attention was easy to whisk away.
