Hera glanced to Demeter, "I don't have to anymore. That's already accomplished. Nor were you asked for an opinion Demeter."
She glanced to Hades, "but him I will break. He may be strong, but we all have time. One of you will give up."

[info]thesmophoros 2011-07-03 09:42 pm UTC (link) Track This Persephone was more cunning that Hera gave her credit for, and she'd considered that tonight might have been little more than a trap. Which was why she had brought with her the Cap of Invisibility. She'd been prepared for the wrath of Olympians, petty creatures that they were.
As Hades was tortured in front of the gathered party, Persephone concentrated on gathering all her powers to her, something difficult when her beloved was suffering.
Behind Hades - beside Persephone - a gaping chasm opened, the deep smell of earth filling the room as wind whipped around them. Persephone now had the helm on and running forward she wrapped her arms around her husband, Kratos having lost his grip with the sudden opening of the gate to the underworld.
Then the both of them were invisible to all eyes, the Iron Queen dragged her husband into the underworld and sealing it behind her.
The wind died and in the shocked silence of the room Demeter blinked at where Hades had been and then growled in frustration.
