Who: Ran & Dolos
What: 'Ohhi, come help me steal things!'
When: Tuesday afternoon
Where: Dolos' loft
Warnings: Lord only knows
Dolos had been pretty quiet for a rather long stretch, which wasn't all that unusual. He didn't have to work if he didn't want to, seeing as how he had enough money stashed away around the world for several lifetimes. He painted to fill the time between his less than legal jobs, but those didn't seem to be overwhelming him with options.
He'd set up an easel with a half-finished work he now hated and was idly throwing knives at it, when he felt another immortal presence approaching. He stood up and looked out the window, fingers still curled loosely around the handle of his knife. Maybe they'd just pass him by, but somehow, he doubted that.

Clad in a dress of ocean-blue and with her golden hair loose, Ran made her way to Dolos apartment. They'd spoken briefly on the internet once before but she'd had to do some digging to find his home in the city - her little computer savvy minions were such useful things.
Ran spotted him in the window as she approached and gave him a sharp-edged smile, expecting him to open the door before she reached it.

Dolos spotted the long gold hair and smiled. "Son of a bitch," he breathed, moving away from the window.
He waited by the door as her presence got stronger, opening it as she was coming up the stairs. "Come in, darling," he called. "Door's open."

Ran swept in, setting her handbag down on the nearest flat surface and continuing over to him. "Dolos," she cooed, kissing each of his cheeks quickly. "Still an attractive bastard, I see."

"Always," he said with a cheeky grin, kissing her cheeks in return. "And don't you just look lovely today. Wine?"

"Yes please," Ran smiled brightly. "White, if you have it." She looked around the apartment. "So this is where the great liar of Greece lives now?"

Dolos pulled a bottle of white wine from the fridge, placing it on the counter and taking two glasses down from a rack.
"So complimentary today," he said, pouring two glasses. "And yes, I suppose it is. It suits my purposes well enough." He passed her a glass, taking a sip from his own.
"So what brings you to my door today?" he asked.

"Only compliments deserved," Ran told him, taking the glass with a nod of thanks. She took a sip from her glass and then asked, all wide innocent eyes, "I can't be here for a visit?" A flutter of her lashes and then a low laugh. After placing her glass down, Ran walked back over to the table near the door and picked up her bag, drawing out a pamphlet as she did and handing it across to him. "The Met is going to be doing a exhibition of a few Italian masters. Including..." she said, pulling another piece of paper from her page, this one a print of a painting. "This. Titian's Diana and Actaeon. It's worth seventy-five million."

Dolos eyed her shrewdly, a smile playing over his lips. "As much as I would like to believe that, rarely do people such as yourself simply visit me. Not that I'd be against the idea, however."
He took the pamphlet and print she handed to him, looking over both with a calculating eye. "An art heist, hmm? Well that sounds like all kinds of fun. Haven't been to a party like that in a while."

"Beautiful women don't come fill your apartment?" Ran asked, eyebrows raised a little in question. "This is a terrible shame."
Ran grinned as Dolos eyed up the things she'd handed over. "Never let it be said that I don't dream big," she said. She took the painting again and looked at it. "Personally, I don't see what all the fuss is about. But if some idiots think it's worth it then it's interesting to me."
